P hilippe Clerc is a Swiss art historian born in 1980. After studying art history at the University of Fribourg, he worked for Christie's auction house in Geneva, before entering the service of various collectors and public and private institutions.
A specialist in Swiss painting of the 19th and 20th centuries, he is interested in little-known artists and makes every effort to bring their work back to light.
A fine connoisseur of the art market in Switzerland, he is also interested in the international art market and the world of collectors, collectors to whom he puts his knowledge and his network formed according to his experiences.
